Welcome
Welcome to the opening of Lunch's first blog site! With two weeks till the first performance rehearsals have been exciting and packed full of intense work. Berkoff's writing has proved to be a real pleasure to direct and I can't wait till the show goes live...
Two people meet on a bench in a park near the sea. It could be anywhere. The man sells the most humiliating item of uselessness that he could find to foist on to the public . . . space.
The play exhibits a psychological and sexual struggle for power. Both characters feel they want to be dominant but ,through meeting, realise it is a balance between dominance and submission that they each require.
