Well, today was the final rehearsal before next week... a scary thought but also very exciting! Colin and Sonia both really worked at their characters and did a great job at the final run-through of the week. Even more exciting is that http://www.iainfisher.com/berkoff/berkoff-news.html has posted our play's details! Thanks again Iain!

How nice to see the Lunch blog up at last. I can’t remember how many weeks we’ve been rehearsing, but it seems a l-o-n-g time. And now there’s just one week to go before opening night. Scary. Very much so, actually, because Lunch is a very scary play. I don’t know what I’m doing in it, to be honest with you! Lauren, our lovely and talented director must have cast a spell on me. I told her before the auditions that I didn’t think I was right for the part. And when I auditioned for her (why did I do that?) I said that the play intimidated me. So she only goes and casts me in it! What does she know about me that I don’t know about myself? Well, it’s been an interesting process, helped enormously by having a wonderful actress to work with (hello Sonia!). Fortunately, we clicked straight away. There was no embarrassment, no inhibition, right from the word go, really. By the third rehearsal we were practically wrestling with each other on the rehearsal room floor. You may think that is a joke. It’s not. But then, Lunch is that kind of play ...
